Mrs. Sarah Borders came to Cross Roads in October of 2007 as the Church Secretary. She is married to Jack Borders and has two teenage children, Joanie and Drew. She is very active at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, where she is involved with the Stephen Ministry.
Director of Music
Annabel Dayhoff graduated from Marshall University School of Music with a BA in Music Education and taught Music in the Florida public schools for 25 years. Upon retirement from teaching she and Carl felt the need to return home to Huntington. She began her work as Director of Music with Cross Roads in September of 2000. Custodian
Mrs. Betty Holley came to Cross Roads as a custodian in April of 2000 taking on the responsibilities of the church physical facility with enthusiasm. Betty enjoys children, so working with the staff of B.A.S.E. and being around young people is especially inspiring to her. "I love things to be clean, I like to decorate and I enjoy being around the church people."
Director of Contemporary Worship
Gail Phillips graduated from Asbury College with a BS in Elementary Education. She received her masters of education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2002. Gail has taught full time in Christian schools in Ohio for fifteen years. Three of those years she also served as Administrator/Principal of the Lebanon Christian School. She has been substitute teaching on and off for ten years and is currently substitute teaching for the Fairland School District in Ohio. Gail has a love for contemporary music and has directed several adult choirs, children's choirs, and music for vacation Bible schools in the past. She has also directed several school musicals and taught music in the Christian school. Her organizational skills, strong singing voice, and willingness to do God?s will is what led her to become the Director of Contemporary Worship at Cross Roads in the spring of 2005. Miss Betty Crouch - Currently is the Childcare Ministries Secretary. She came to Cross Roads in 1964 as a teacher in the Weekday Kindergarten. She began working as church secretary in 1965 in addition to teaching. Miss Betty, as she is known, has been a widow since 1984 and has two grown children with families of their own. She is very active in Pea Ridge Baptist Church

Jen Parsons and Sean Parsons came to Huntington in August of 2006 from Central Illinois after Sean accepted a full-time position at Marshall University teaching jazz. Jen is currently enrolled at Marshall as a graduate student working toward a masters in music education. She has accepted the position of Children’s Ministries Coordinator (formerly WWJD director). Jen will also be the Assistant Choir Director, helping Annabel with the Chancel Choir. She will assume these positions on May 8, 2007. Welcome Sean and Jen!
